Protect yourself during the holidays

Hello customers,

Stay safe from scammers this holiday season by getting to know their most common scams:

  • Online shopping Scams.Online shopping scams involve scammers pretending to be legitimate online sellers, either with a fake website or a fake ad on a genuine retailer site. For detailed information, please visit: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/types-of-scams/buying-or-selling/online-shopping-scams
  • Classified scams. Classified scams trick online shoppers on classified websites into thinking they are dealing with a legitimate contact but it is actually a scammer.

Remember, contact us directly via live chat, official email when you need help with our service. If you do use a search engine, use caution.

  1. Our legitimate K&W Auto Parts website is www.kwautoparts.com.au.
  2. Our legitimate email address is info@kwautoparts.com.au.

Here are some important tips so that you can identify scams and keep your account and information safe:

  1. Trust K&W-owned channels. K&W Auto Parts only runs a website and ebay store in Australia.  Always go through the K&W Auto Parts website when seeking customer service, support, or when looking to make changes to your account.
  2. Be wary of false urgency. Scammers may try to create a sense of urgency to persuade you to do what they're asking. Be wary any time someone tries to convince you that you must act now.
  3. Never pay over the phone. K&W Auto Parts  will never ask you to provide payment information, including gift cards (or “verification cards”, as some scammers call them) for products or services over the phone.
  4. Never pay into a personal bank account. K&W Auto Parts never ask customers to make the payment to any PayID or personal bank account.

If you receive correspondence you think may not be from K&W Auto Parts, please report it to us. For more information on how to stay safe online,  visit Security & Privacy.

Sincerely,

K&W Auto Parts
